Words that Inspire and Engage

I am an award-winning author, mental health campaigner, and speaker who believes in post-traumatic growth — that even the hardest experiences can be transformed into something positive.
My work is rooted in lived experience, shaped by resilience, and driven by a belief that everyone has value, potential, and a story worth telling. I write and speak to challenge stigma, amplify unheard voices, and remind people that words can heal just as powerfully as they can harm.
I am the founder of International Fathers Mental Health Day and the Global Paternal Mental Health Partnership, and my work focuses on prevention, education, and support for fathers, families, and communities.
Through writing, training, and advocacy, I aim to help people recognise their strengths, ask for help when needed, and understand that leaving school early or being misunderstood does not define your future.
